Alongside the forthcoming book launch in Inverness, I can now reveal that there will also be a few readings around Scotland in the coming weeks, which is very exciting – essentially it makes for a wee “launch tour”. Hopefully this will give folk a chance to pop along and hear more about the book, ask questions, sign my copy and say hello.
I only have the Edinburgh date confirmed – I am currently in Auld Reekie and have just been to the venue to confirm details – but will blog other dates and put them on the “writing” page as soon as they’re definite.
Up The Creek Without A Mullet 2010 Tour |
|
Monday 1 February 6.00pm | Inverness: launch Bishop’s Palace, Eden Court Theatre IV3 5SB |
Tuesday 2 March 6.30pm | Edinburgh: reading Blackwell, 52-63 South Bridge EH1 1YS |
Please do spread the word about these dates – it would be great to see folk in either Inverness, Edinburgh or in other places soon to be conformed…
I’ll definitely come to the one in March!
Hurrah! One person! I guess that means I really have to turn up now…
You want people to sign your copy of the book? This sounds like a flimsy reason for a tour. Surely you would want to sign theirs?
Not a reason for the tour, just something that I hope to do along the way. It’s a fair exchange, after all – people may well want me to sign their copies, so it’s only right I get to have my copy signed too.
Hi Simon, I might just pop down the road to Blackwell’s in March. Sound like the place to be…
It would be great to see you there Mark! Hope all’s well.
I might send my sister down if she can make it – but she *will* have a brand new baby.
