It’s a quiet week.
Only one day’s travel, Wednesday, which took me to sunny Dundee. I stopped on the way back for a couple of hours in Aberdeen to catch up with the gang there, as Justin more or less accurately reports. We assembled in Ma Cameron’s, the oldest pub in the city, and it was a joyous reunion because Niall was back just that afternoon from Brazil. Conversation did indeed dwell, for some reason, upon Britain’s top javelinists.
This weekend should be fun. Tomorrow night I – for the first time in my life – am attending a murder mystery party. No idea what to expect, other than the instructions I’ve received about my character.
And over the weekend my first Couchsurfer arrives. I wonder if I should “review” my Courchsurfing visitors, “church search”-style?
Have fun with the murder mystery party! I have been to a number, myself, and enjoy them. I have been told that I usually play my character well.
