I was due to be in Edinburgh for work today, but decided last night that it would not be worth it given the sudden flurry of snow that has descended on the country. It turns out it was the best thing to do, as this drama indicates.

With the sunshine returning, whistling innocently as if there was never any bad weather, it’s a nice feeling to know I am now off for a week.  Over the next week and a bit we’ll be doing a bit of walking, going to a wedding and catching up with friends, and I also aim to get quite a bit of writing done.
